HEARTBURN PRODUCTIONS “To tear into one's heart and put his soul on fire”, a description that aptly describes what Heartburn productions represents – outright passion and love unyielding. An independent local music production of 4 years, Heartburn Productions has been active in producing and managing events around the metro. It aims to promote and encourage bands to showcase their talents in music and to provide as an outlet for the robust underground music scene. The production saw its beginning at an eventful night at Nightwish Bar, Adriatico, Manila. The event was spearheaded by Janice "Jaja" Villanueva with the help of her friends, Andrew of Anathema Prod, Reia of D2R Prod and lead vocalist of Jpop inspired band Ethereal Anthem. The night catapulted into what is now known as Heartburn Productions. The production team has now expanded to include its current team – Teng, Jamilove, Bebang, Euricka and Pochay. As the journey continues, Heartburn still pursues to fulfill its charter – to provide a comfortable ground not only for music enthusiasts, but also to those looking to satisfy their thirst for raw underground music. WE WOULD LIKE TO: + invite bands to perform and participate with us in our upcoming music events. + build alliances that produce a variety of media, business and sponsorship opportunities. + collaborate with print, tv and radio outlets. + secure partnerships between non-profit productions and companies that will benefit both parties. RULES AND REGULATIONS (for the bands) BAND PROFILE REQUIREMENT. Band profile is important to us for serves as our record/reference. We are requiring bands to submit their profile first and to wait for the approval. It must include the band's name, history, members, genre, performances, contact information, and/or other details. Send it to: heartburnproductions@yahoo.com. FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS ON PERFORMANCE TIME SLOT. More earlier, more chances of getting the desired time slot. GENRE. We accept any subgenre or fusion genre of rock. SONGS. The bands are enabled to play 3-4 songs or 20-30 minutes of stage time. CALL TIME. Usually starts at 5-6pm. GUEST BANDS ARE "V.I.P.S". Meaning, that the production is paying them or sometimes, they are generous enough to play for free. They can select their own time slot without meeting the call time. They are enabled to play 4-5 songs. LET'S WORK PROFESSIONALLY. =) THE EVENT ENTRANCE TICKET FEE. Tickets ranges from P100-150 which includes a free beer (depending on the venue). TIME. Usually starts at 8pm and ends at 3am.
